What it does
The Salesforce integration syncs Govly opportunities to Salesforce as custom Govly Opportunity objects. When you push an opportunity from Govly, it creates a Govly Opportunity record in your Salesforce org with fields containing the opportunity data. If the opportunity is later updated in Govly, the corresponding Govly Opportunity record in Salesforce is updated automatically. Unlike HubSpot where Govly creates deals directly, Salesforce uses a custom Govly Opportunity object. This gives you full control over how Govly data flows into your native Salesforce Opportunities through Salesforce’s workflow automation tools. How it works
Govly connects to your Salesforce org via OAuth. When you first connect, Govly installs a custom Govly Opportunity object in your Salesforce org. This object contains fields for tracking Govly-specific data including solicitation details, buyer information, timing dates, AI-generated summaries, and links back to Govly. When you push an opportunity, Govly maps its data to the Govly Opportunity object fields.Fields synced to Salesforce
