Connect Claude to Govly to research opportunities, review your organization’s data, and use available Govly tools without leaving your conversation. Govly is available in Claude’s connector directory, so you do not need to enter an MCP server URL.

Before you start

You need:
  • A Govly account with a paid seat. Enterprise API access is not required.
  • A Claude account or workspace that allows connectors.
  • Permission to sign in to Govly and authorize the connection.
You do not need to create an API key, enter OAuth client credentials, or edit claude_desktop_config.json.
On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary Owner must first go to Organization settings → Connectors → Browse connectors, select Govly, and choose Add to your team. Each member then connects and authorizes their own Govly account.

For more information about Claude workspace permissions and connector behavior, see Anthropic’s connector guide.

Try the connection

Start a conversation with a request such as:
  • “Search Govly for open cybersecurity opportunities with response deadlines in the next 30 days.”
  • “Show my Govly workspaces and summarize the next action for each one.”
Claude can only access Govly data and actions available to the Govly user who authorized the connection. Claude may ask for approval before using tools that take actions in Govly.

Disconnect Claude

To disconnect Govly in Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, open Govly, and disconnect or remove the connector. To revoke Claude’s access from Govly, go to Govly Settings → API → Connected Apps, find the Claude connection, and select Revoke. Claude must be authorized again before it can reconnect.
